Update 28-02-2013:

Apparently this is not a championship and is a normal tournament to see the level of Kuwaiti players.

Don’t blame me, I just write what I hear. And I was just informed about the change from National Championship to Closed Tournament today.

There will be a tournament soon for Kuwaiti players to decide who will be on the NATIONAL TEAM.

It will START on saturday 2 March, 2013 at 6:00 PM.

02-03-2013 Last oppurtunity to register is on the day of the tournament, 1 hour before the tournament starts. 02-03-2013

It is open to all Kuwaiti players and the top 6 players will be part of the National Team.

The victor of the tournament will be considered as the Kuwait Champion 2013.

Registration is FREE, however there will be a 10 KD insurance fee to make sure the players continue to play in all the rounds.

Time control is 90 Minutes + 20 Seconds increment.

Rounds: 7 or 9 or Round-Robin (Depends on the # of registered players)
