“FCA-K” CHESS TOURNAMENT!

This tournament is sponspered by the Filipino Chess Assosiation of Kuwait (FCA-K). It is open to all nationalities. So eveybody is welcomed to join.

The details that I have are as follows:

Entrance Fee: Only 2 KD!

Location: Salhiya Tower (near the salhiya complex)

Rounds: There are a total of 9 rounds (with one day break)

System: Swiss System

Time Control: Long Game

Prizes: ???

New Tournament NEXT WEEK!

NEW TOURNAMENT! Coming Soon

There are rumors saying that there might be a group tournament soon. I do not know the details. But once I get the information, I will post them here. One thing that I do know is that it will be held in the month of November. So keep practicing your tactics and memorizing your openings. 🙂

Ramadan 2008 Report: Round 7

It’s All Over! No more Ramadan Games. Ahmad Emad tied today against Edgar.

Bader Hajeri won his game against Ferdinand.

Both Ahmad Emad and Bader Hajeri have 6 points each. WHO WON? Tomorrow you will find out.

Tomorrow the final results for everyone will be posted. Thank you everyone who has supported us. I hope that we have more tournament soon.

Ramadan 2008 Report: Round 6

CONGRATULATIONS TO AHMED EMAD! He is leading the tournament. If he wins or draws today, he will win the 1st place prize. Yesterday the Fide Master ended up drawing against Kuwait’s champ, Bader Hajeri. In other news, it was surprising to see that there was 6 draws among the 23 games yesterday! Never happened before. And most people with the white pieces won thier games. Only 6 games were won with the black pieces. Anyways, here is the latest leader standings:
